Four Seasons Resort and Club
(972) 717-0700
Irving, Texas

Surrounded by seemingly endless acres of gently rolling hills, this high-end resort, conference and athletic complex on the outskirts of Dallas offers an only-in-Texas hybrid of luxury services and cowboy-chic vibe.

The resort's Tennis Center comprises four climate-controlled indoor hard courts, eight outdoor lighted hard courts, and a 3,000-seat stadium. Individual and group lessons are taught by USPTA-certified professionals; in addition to a broad roster of all-level clinics and special weekend events, daily tennis offerings include small-group workouts, drills, round robins and match-making, often with the club's local members. A well-stocked pro shop provides 24-hour restringing services and complimentary demo racquets and balls.
Off the Court
The 176,000-square-foot Sports Club features squash and racquetball courts, four swimming pools, indoor and outdoor jogging tracks, a half-court basketball court and plenty of cardiovascular and weight-training equipment and classes; an extensive spa-services menu includes treatments from standard Swedish massages to more unusual marine-complex body masks and aroma hydrotherapy sessions. Also on the property is an 18-hole golf course, golf-practice facilities and a golf retail shop.
Accommodations and Dining
The resort's 357 guest rooms - including 15 one- and two-bedroom suites and 50 private villas -- feature amenities such as marble baths, private balcony or patio, oversized cotton bath towels and thick terry robes, CD players and twice-daily housekeeping. The highlight of the resort's five on-site restaurants and lounges is the signature Cafe on the Green, a candlelit dining hideaway serving new American cuisine. Tennis players are treated to their own cafe, Rackets, which serves light fare and fruit smoothies and keeps its TVs tuned to tennis-related programming.
