US Open Lodging
A limited choice of midrange hotels and chain motels can be found in the general vicinity of the USTA National Tennis Center in Queens, along with a standard selection of airport hotels at nearby LaGuardia. The complex is easily accessible via public transportation, however, US Open spectators can reasonably stay across the river in Manhattan and catch a train to the tournament. The most convenient locations are along the No. 7 Flushing subway line, which originates at Times Square and stops at Fifth Avenue and Grand Central Station before leaving Manhattan, or near Penn Station where you can board the Port Washington Branch of the Long Island Railroad. If you prefer to stay as close as possible to the action, the following properties near Flushing Meadows are good bets:
