 Jumeirah Carlton Tower
Two private outdoor courts in the adjacent Cadogan Gardens are available to guests of this slick Sloane Street business hotel, which also features a gorgeous spa and fitness center with a large indoor swimming pool. The property is located in London's premier shopping district, within walking distance of Harrods and the Knightsbridge Underground station. Double rates at the 220-rooom property typically fall in the 200 to 300-quid range (significantly more for the best suites), with some good package deals frequently offered for weekend stays.

 The Cadogan Hotel
Smaller and more intimate than the Carlton Tower, this Edwardian boutique hotel also provides access to the private tennis courts at nearby Cadogan Gardens, along with a unique opportunity to sleep in the room where Oscar Wilde was arrested for "gross indecency" in 1895. The Cadogan is also where Queen Victoria's son Albert Edward (later crowned King Edward VII) notoriously trysted with actress Lillie Langtry. The property has 65 rooms and suites, recently redecorated in a mix of traditional and contemporary styles. Rack rates range from 245 pounds for a double room to 595 pounds for a top-of-the-line one-bedroom suite, though it's sometimes possible to get discounts as low as around 150 quid per night for the least expensive doubles.
