Jon Wertheim

Jon Wertheim is a sports journalist and author who frequently appears on Tennis Channel as a commentator for live coverage and specials.

Wertheim, a senior writer for Sports Illustrated since 1996, is one of the most accomplished sports journalists in America and has established himself as the authority on a variety of sport topics. As an author, his works have been cited in "The Best American Sports Writing" anthology for four different years.

Amongst his most noted titles are Strokes of Genius: Federer, Nadal, and the Greatest Match Ever Played; Running the Table: The Legend of Kid Delicious, The Last Great American Pool Hustler; Venus Envy: A Sensational Season Inside the Women's Tennis Tour and The Foul Lines: A Pro Basketball Novel (co-written with Jack McCallum).

Wertheim graduated Yale University in 1993 and received a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1997. He currently resides in New York City.
