Brett Haber

Brett Haber handles Tennis Channel play-by-play responsibilities throughout the year, including the US Open, French Open and Australian Open. The longtime sportscaster  has been honored with multiple Emmy Awards and has  received an "Edward R. Murrow Award" for excellence in sports journalism.

Haber has a long history in on-air tennis, calling a variety of ATP and WTA matches around the world, and leading coverage of the Outback Champions Series. His other play-by-play assignments have included NFL football, PBR bull riding, pro cycling and the annual Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain.

Prior to Tennis Channel Haber served as sports director and primary sports anchor for WUSA 9 Sports, a Washington, DC-area news network. From 1994-1997 he hosted ESPN’s Sports Center, during which he received the "Ron Bookman Award," an honor given to the world's most influential tennis journalist each year.

Haber is a board member of the Tim & Tom Gullikson Foundation for brain tumor patients and their families. He is also a consultant for Nike Tennis where he leads grassroots tennis programs for children around the country.
