In our next episode of Destination Tennis, we explore the sizzling cultural hot spot of Montreal, Canada, where we tour the amazing European-style downtown area and find some of the best tennis Canada has to offer. Montreal has a legendary tennis scene and we visit the site of the record-breaking, highest attended tennis event in history, the Rogers Cup at Uniprix Stadium.
In downtown Montreal we explore a range of public tennis facilities and learn how to create the best tennis vacation this city has to offer. Mieke takes us on a tour of the Montreal Biodome and we go shopping in the largest underground mall in the world, with a final stop at the super-chic Opus Hotel. An evening meal of the Montreal classic dish “Poutine” rounds out our Canadian cultural experience.
We conclude with a tour of the mountain resort village of Mont Tremblant Resort, an afternoon of tennis with Coach Andre Lemaire and an overnight at the unforgettable Quintessence Resort Hotel. That concludes our Canadian tennis adventure in beautiful Montreal.
