23 year old 21st ranked Kei Nishikori of Japan captured his 3rd ATP singles title by defeating 31 year old Spaniard Feliciano Lopez 6-2, 63 at the US National Indoor Tennis Championships in Memphis. Dave “Koz” Kozlowski caught with the new champion in the birthplace of Rock N’ Roll.

World number-one ranked doubles team, Bob & Mike Bryan captured their 85th career title by defeating James Blake & Jack Sock 6-1, 6-2 in an All-American final at the US National Indoor Tennis Championships in Memphis. The preeminent doubles title record holding career all started in Memphis when they grab their first title in 2001. Dave “Koz” Kozlowski caught up with the Bryans in the birthplace of Rock N’ Roll.

The US Indoor Tennis Championships in Memphis got its All- American finals as the newly formed team of veteran James Blake & rising star Jack Sock came from 4 -8 down in points in the final set tiebreak to defeat Lukasz Kubot & Daniel Nestor 2-6, 6-4, 12-10. Blake & Sock will be taking # 1 seed Mike & Bob Bryan. It is the first time in a dozen years since Memphis has had four Americans in the doubles finals. Dave “Koz” Kozlowski caught up with Blake & Sock in Memphis after their semifinal victory.

24 year old WTA 72nd ranked Marina Erakovic of New Zealand claimed her first WTA singles title at the US National Indoor Championships in Memphis capturing the first set 6-1 from # 3 seed Sabine Lisicki when the German had to retire with stomach disorder. Dave “Koz” Kozlowski caught up with Erakovic following her victory.



Dave "Koz" Kozlowski is an award-winning tennis teaching professional and tennis commentator. Kozlowski is among the first 17 teaching pros to be awarded thae Master Pro Certification Level. He was named the USTA Broadcaster of the Year in 2000 and Pro of the Year three times – 1978 in Alabama, 1997 in Florida, and National Pro of the year in 2001.
