Men's Final: No. 3 Roger Federer beat No. 4 Andy Murray 4-6, 7-5, 6-3, 6-4 for his record-tying seventh Wimbledon title and 17th Grand Slam title.

Stat of the Day: 26 points - Length of the pivotal sixth game in the third set. Federer broke Murray for a 4-2 lead and pulled away from there.

Quote of the Day: ``I'm getting closer.'' - First-time Wimbledon finalist Murray, speaking during the trophy ceremony, on his bid to become the first British man to win Wimbledon since 1936.
