Believe me, I am thankful for Tennis Channel's existence and the alternative tennis coverage (Network TV or ESPN) was almost nonexistent. Yet, I am really dissappointed with paucity of new material on Tennis Channel. I am sick of the same old Open Access, Center Court, No Strings and various specials (the 3 year old Roger Federer Story story for example). It is gotten so bad that I salivate when new edition of Bag Check come on. Does TC just not have the money for new programming or do they think that just reediting and splicing together old shows will satiate us tennis fans? Need programming ideas TC? How about airing a regular studio talk show to discuss and debate the latest tennis news? Just a couple of knowledgeable, but not too famous (my price is cheap) talking heads with one camera will suffice. That shouldn't be too expensive? I would also love the opportunity to view more post match discussion of current matches. It was such a bummer that there was no forum for continued match discussion after the great Fed-Nadal Wimbeldon Final. NBC couldn't wait to get back to their regular programming. Fortunately, Tennis Channel was replaying 2006 Fed Cup semifinal action. Whoopee!!
