Has anybody else noticed that playing on grass looks much the same as playing on clay or watching paint dry?
Grass court tennis used to be fast, serve and volley, chip and charge, now it looks like any other clay or hard court tourney, players stay back, and come up to shake hands.
Years ago, there were complaints that it was too fast, so the ball was made heavier, the court was slowed down, but they went too far with all the baseliners in the game.
Let's make the Big W, once again, a serve and volley tourney and add some diversity to the game.
