I guess I can say the same thing regarding Nadal.
The matches I have watched, Nadal has been warned on time, Djokovic hasn't.
Jokervic is a star and makes money for the tournies he plays in so he can do bunches of stuff before he'll be penalized. Just like bunches of players don't. He also bounces the ball an inordinate amount of time because he says it helps his nerves. In the official book: "The Rules Of Tennis", a player is only allow to bounce the ball 10 times. If you have noticed, Nadal (who did get a warning for excessive ball bounces) only bounces the ball 9 times now. I counted. Also, if you look back at the time Agassi smart-mouthed and cursed on the court (I think at a spectator, not sure about that), he was defaulted and he walked off the court cursing. The chair and the tourny director found out that they were wrong in letting Agassi go because he was a guaranteed money maker and crowd pleaser. It was because of that incident that the Official Rules were changed so that players could only be warned everytime they did something wrong. It was a screwed rule but, you will notice that if a player does a codeable thing wrong he is only warned no matter how many times he does it during a match.
So, although the Joke is not an Agassi, he is a draw for the crowd so he can get away with that. Unless the chair feels he's gone too far. Nadal will never have to worry about something like that again.
Even as a junior, Djokovic was notorious for stalling and exploiting the injury timeout rules of the game. I remember the first year he played the US Open against G Monfils.
Monfils was leading up a break and Djokovic took two injury timeouts after his own serve at changeover. It gave Djokovic enough time to disrupt Monfils' rythm enough to come back to beat Monfils in the first round.
Djokovic showed no outward signs of injury to his leg after his timeouts.
I agree. He bounces the ball at least 20 times because I have counted them. A rule needs to be placed here. No more than 10 bounces and then that is a lot.
