TTC is in desperate need of content to fill their programming hours. Macatee's ego is nothing compared to John McEnroe who can't control himself from talking endlessly. No question about McEnroe being smart about the game but it would be great if he could close his trap once a point starts and let the game unfold. Noooooo way with JMac who talks over everyone and the action. To make matters worse he's taken up politics and went on forever about Obama/Clinton/Puerto Rico earlier this week. If the guys wants to talk politics, he should go and get a job at CNN. Macatee is a saint by comparison.
He doesn't possess the knowledge like Johnny Mac to make astute comments during matches so he's focusing on off-court tennis subjects. It is taking away from what fans want which is more on-court coverage.
