Djokovic is over rated. In the last five months, Djokovic has won only one tournament -- the Australian Open, which he has milked for all it's worth. From mid-October to the Australian Open, Djokovic lost to Nalbandian, Santoro, Gasquet, Ferrer, Nadal in three events. After the Australian Open, Djokovic has lost to Davydenko, Gilles Simon, Roddick in three events, and even pulled out of Rotterdam to avoid losing again. So far Djokovic has had an easy draw in Indian Wells: he has faced weak players (Seppi, Kohlschreiber, Canas, Wawrinka) and every one of his opponents was tired from going the distance in three-setters before facing Djokovic (as will Nadal in the semis). The exhausted Wawrinka might have beaten Djokovic, but eventually wilted because he had earlier played three 3-setters in a row against tougher opponents than Djokovic faced.
Nadal is still the better player, he didn't play is ususal match on Sat. Maybe, Nadal is just having a off day...
Couldn't agree with you more about Dhjokovic. What an arrogant jerk. Give me the gentlemen's attitude of Federer, Nadal, Blake et al. After the match with Fish, that numbskull Djokovic said "Oh, I didn't play very well against someone unseeded!" Fish had a MARVELOUS tournament!!!
That sappy Serb needs to acquire some humility. The boys need to step up and knock that pompous ego down a peg or two. Have you ever heard players do anything but praise their opponent...I never did...well, until this nitwit! Maybe he should just stick to impressions of Sharapova.
