    You people clearly dont appreciate tennis brilliance. Which explains the personal attacks on such a true talent. I think you guys are just pissed because she wins and she isnt american. Americans hate sports (and apparently athletes) where they arent winning. ( Case in point: football - I mean what the rest of the world calls football, the one you play with your FEET ; - which americans cant play for ***. Hahahaha. America is the laughing stock of the rest of the world in this respect. I mean come ON, espn had a WOMAN commenting on the (mens) WORLD CUP. Hahahaha, we could only laugh at you. What a joke of a country.

It shouldn't be about country, it should be about talent and your statement about Americans belie your attempt to criticize what some folks do on this board when you act as silly they do and malign all Americans, because some act a certain way. Sharapova, afterall, was trained in America! So cut the crap! She did an excellent job at this Open and bravo for her.
And while you are correct about our lack of talent in soccer (what you call football) we believe that gender should not be a factor in determining whether one should be a sportscaster. And, I won't laugh at you for your chauvanistic belief, because guess what? That's your right, which is truly an American notion!

goodjon,  you're  probably a real nice person and all, but I must say after reading your posts, you come off as being angry about pretty much everything and even a tad racist. Is this intentional on your part or do you consider yourself misunderstood?
