Outstanding Supporting Actress in a cameo role (Drama): Jelena Jankovic during her Wimbledon news conference in her loss to Melanie Oudin blaming it on "women's issues" and failing to give any credit to Oudin. Her trophy will consist of a bowl of very sour grapes!

      Okay twins is definitely showboating.

Well ninotschka, now Serena's an Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy!

    4. ninotschka (7/19/2009 9:31:40 AM)

also I forgot to say that Serena should already be put into contention for the Female GOAThood...Navratilova/Graf beware!!!!!!!!!..////..And concerning web sites and players' profile: what was the ATP thinking with the new angry-looking shots of the players on their individual ranking page on the ATP official site? They all look horrible!!! Have you seen Querrey, Hewitt or rodxxx? The photographer should be sued!!!!!!

aaah come on, enough please, on the "Serena-does-not-play-enough-so-she-only-has-herself-to-blame-if-she's-number2 blablabla" thing, :) it's really not the main issue here!! In a way, it's still some easy Williams' bashing (I don't mean you James just in general). As mentioned in your piece, the real problem is that weirdo WTA ranking system! ..Besides, Serena was INJURED in Miami, so she lost the final to a certain screaming angry Blondie! She was then sidelined for a couple of months because of that. Ergo, She was not fit to play period. ..Anyway, would anyone DARE to castigate Mr GOAT-Federer if he were not to play Bastad, Indianapolis or, errr Metz? = Which he doesn't of course!!!!
