Can we make requests for the "gratuitous pics of half-dressed players practicing in the hot sun" (Safin)?

James- My mouth is watering just reading your blog! Another winner J..cant wait for the draw announcement tomorrow.

AC and Jules, both Jameses appreciate your support. The verdict on Andy is certainly out. Nothing a solid 12 months won't answer, when like Novak he has to start defending his biggest gains. Do we think he's making the USO final? Mamajana, I too had a one-way conversation with Lindsay at the '05 YEC. It consisted mainly of my shrieking LindSAY! She didn't hear it but ESPN2 certainly did.

James - great blog this week. And the perfect time to bring in a Point Counterpoint. I have to say, I agree with both James' POV. I like watching Murray play. He's incredibly talented, and has learned how to keep his emotions in check. However, I agree with Jules that neither he nor Delpo seem all that charismatic. I love watching them play, but don't necessarily find myself compelled to root for them in a match. Just sayin'. I'm still a Roger/Rafa fan. Can't wait to see the end of year rankings.

James- I completely agree with James McEnroe. Doesn't James the ignorant xxx know that a great tennis player will never = star power & TV ratings? e.g., Davydenko in any final? I'll say it again- If the future world # 1 is Murray or Del Potro, tennis is in a world of trouble. Neither Murray nor Del Po do anything for me. Although both are very talented and probably have good personality's in person, it sure does not come across on camera. They both give me the yawns.... like watching paint dry. Neither will ever have that "it" factor that any of the greats have. And if Del Po walked any slower in any of his matches last week I think he would have put himself to sleep! I think he is taking on all of Djoker's old bad habits. Lol- He was even going too slow for Rafa and Raf is still hobbling around recovering! Long live the Nadal/Fed rivalry! No one could have written a more perfect story. And it will only be in Murray's dreams that he will ever have the rock star power of King RRRaaFaaa Naaaadalll!!
