Beginning Friday, the network will be distributed on Time Warner Cable in Minneapolis, Minn.; Cincinnati, Ohio; Memphis, Tenn.; Greensboro and Winston-Salem, N.C.; and Waco, Texas. The Tennis Channel also will be carried on Cox Cable in Baton Rouge, La. and Pensacola, Fla. "Response to The Tennis Channel from cable systems and their subscribers has been overwhelming since our May launch," says The Tennis Channel Chairman and CEO David Meister. "It's clear the tennis world has been an under-served audience and we're excited with the momentum we've been able to build that allows us to bring the best of tennis programming into more and more households nationwide."

"The Tennis Channel's distribution rollout is accelerating," says The Tennis Channel's Senior Vice President of Distribution Randy Brown. "This increased support by the cable industry reflects an exciting program schedule, and is very gratifying."
