LOS ANGELES, July 7, 2004 —The Tennis Channel, The Tennis Channel, a 24-hour cable television network devoted to tennis and other racquet sports, will telecast live from the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, R.I., during the induction ceremony for tennis stars Steffi Graf, Stefan Edberg and Dorothy "Dodo" Cheney, this Sunday, July 11, at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT. The network is covering several matches during the tournament, including Sunday's doubles championship.
The weekend lineup also features the U.S. Fed Cup team in quarterfinal action against Austria, live from Innsbruck, Austria. The 2003 runner-up U.S. squad is trying to get one step closer to a return to the finals after having defeated Slovenia in the first round in late April. Players scheduled to compete for the U.S. include Martina Navratilova, Chanda Rubin, Lisa Raymond and Jill Craybas.
