LOS ANGELES, July 20, 2006

The Tennis Channel has named Corrie Howard to account manager, southern region, effective immediately. Based in the channel’s Atlanta office, Howard will manage network distribution and spearhead its growth in a seven-state territory that includes Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas.

She will report to John Sorrells, account director, central region.

“We’re excited to have Corrie on our team and look forward to watching The Tennis Channel expand throughout her territory under her guidance,” said Sorrells.

Howard joins The Tennis Channel after close to seven years at A&E Television Networks in Atlanta, where she spent the past two as senior account representative, southeast region. In this position she contributed to regional distribution and marketing development, and acted as a local ad sales liaison for network affiliates.

She is a member of several state and regional chapters of the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM), Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) and the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC). Howard earned her bachelor’s degree in Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
