William Simon is the chief financial officer of The Tennis Channel, the cable television network devoted to tennis and other racquet sports. In this post, Simon leads all aspects of the company's financial functions, and oversees administration and human resources.

Prior to The Tennis Channel, Simon was chief financial officer, vice president of finance and treasurer for Dick Clark Productions, Inc. a diverse entertainment enterprise, and a leading independent producer of a wide range of television programming for broadcast networks, cable networks, distributors and advertisers.

Joining the organization in 1991 as a senior production accountant, he advanced rapidly to chief financial officer, where he played an instrumental role facilitating a $140 million merger. Simon also led the company through a significant growth period that saw revenues increase from $66 million to $92 million in three years.

At Dick Clark Productions, Simon was no stranger to distribution agreements. He implemented new audit procedures for the company's outside foreign distributor and other participation and royalty revenue streams that generated more than $200,000 in recovered revenue. Additionally, Simon used his strategic fiscal vision to reduce the company's annual costs by more than $350,000.

From 1988-1991 Simon was senior auditor at KPMG, a global network of professional services firms providing audit, tax and advisory services. Among his many duties he supervised diverse teams in analyzing clients' financial health, evaluating potential industry risks and identifying accounting, internal control and operational efficiency concerns.

Simon, a Certified Public Accountant, is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor of science in accounting.
