Laura Hockridge is the vice president, original programming, Tennis Channel, the only 24-hour, television-based multimedia destination dedicated to both the professional sport and passionate tennis lifestyle.

 

Hockridge, who started at the network in 2003 as a senior producer, was promoted to executive producer in 2006, then to vice president, original programming in 2008. During her tenure she has launched and supervised close to a dozen original network series and a wide variety of internally produced specials. In addition to her guidance on Tennis Channel mainstay programs Best of 5 and Destination Tennis, Hockridge developed and introduced the network’s Signature Series line of special tennis documentaries in 2008, along with US Open miniseries Only at the Open and tennis instructional show Tennis Channel Academy.

 

Before Tennis Channel, Hockridge worked as a studio producer for USA Network’s coverage of the US Open, and as a coordinating producer for CNBC. Hockridge also was a producer for political talk show host John McLaughlin in Washington, D.C.
